All-on-4 Dental Implants Reviews

All-on-4 Dental Implants in cleveland texas are a popular treatment option for patients who are missing the majority or all of their natural teeth. There are a variety of dental implant and orthodontic appliance solutions that can address missing teeth, so in determining what solution is correct for you, it is important to consider the treatment time, comfort and feel of the implant or denture, as well as the overall cost.

To help you determine whether or not Al-on-4 is right for you, read the following testimonials to get an inside look into what you can expect from this procedure.

Five Month Evaluation

I am five months out from my All-on-4 procedure and things are going really well! I have been very careful to follow the post-operative directions, which has made a big difference. If you are considering having All-on-4, I think it’s really important to do your research, feel confident in your dentist, and be clear about what you want. It’s also important to be prepared for how extensive the process is. The first part is the surgery and implant placement. When these initial teeth are placed, be sure you are happy with how they look.  I have been pleased with mine, so now I am on to the second stage, which is the cosmetic stage. I had detailed impressions made and will be going in next week to select the color and shape. I felt a little overwhelmed at making such a big decision, but I have spent a lot of time considering how I want them to look, so I am excited to move on to this next step! My biggest advice to anyone considering this procedure is to remember that it’s your mouth and your money, so be clear about what you want.

Cleaning Routine Following All-on-4

Eight months out of my All-on-4 surgery and I can honestly say that scheduling this procedure was the best decision I have ever made. I have had so many people tell me how beautiful my smile is!

Because I have invested so much time and money into this procedure, I have really committed myself to following a thorough cleaning routine. Every morning and evening, I spend at least 15 minutes using a waterpik. I have actually invested in five different waterpiks- a cordless one, two travel sets, and two full sized kits for at home, one for each bathroom. I also use a medium firmness toothbrush, which I use following the waterpik, and a soft bristle brush that I use to get underneath the appliance. I also use a sonicare daily with a whitening tooth polish. Along with all that, I am really mindful about what I eat and drink.

That may sound like a lot- and it isn’t required that you take this extensive amount of care, but given the money I spent and the time I have taken, I am going to do everything I can to maintain these sparkling, slick looking teeth!

Ten Months After Surgery

I have just reached the 10 month mark following my surgery and I cannot believe how nice they look. My teeth were in seriously bad shape before this procedure. I had no molars left, and my crowns were beginning to fail rapidly. All-on-4 has been a tremendous way to address this issue.

My diet is returning closer to normal. I have started eating crispy bacon, which I have missed, but I still avoid hard foods like beef jerky or popcorn. I am also completely pain free, although there was pain involved following the procedure. In particular, my tongue constantly felt scalded, which made it very difficult to enjoy eating. Fortunately that has since corrected itself. The biggest problem I have now is food keeps getting trapped between my gum and lips and it’s harder to clear the area with my tongue. As a result, I basically have a waterpik with me everywhere I go.

Beyond some initial discomfort and a few minor aggravations, my All-on-4 has been tremendous. I am especially glad that they look so natural, because I am someone who smiles all the time, and I have yet to have anyone recognize that they are not my natural teeth.
