Carol Love

I have worked for Downtown Dental since 2013. The best part of my job is interacting with patients, and every patient is a unique person and story. The unfolding life’s story of watching a child patient transition into a teenager, and then to a young adult is but one example. As a hygienist, I am accountable for educating patients of their health options, thereby empowering patients to make informed decisions.

I have been a Hygienist for 35 years, and my career has spanned from general and periodontal private dental practices. I participate in volunteer dental health initiatives, and continuing education keeps me updated in new technology and information.

I hold an Associate in Applied Science (Dental Hygiene) from Wharton County Junior College and a Bachelor of Science (Health Education) from Texas State University. I was born and raised in the small town of Edna, Texas. I enjoy family gatherings, running, hiking and reading. I have a 27-year marriage to my husband Keith, and we spend much of our spare time traveling within the USA and abroad. Traveling offers the opportunity to meet new people, engage with different cultures and visit beautiful locations.
