Dr. Kimberly Walag was born and raised in the Midwest, where she attended Indiana University in Bloomington and completed a B.S. in Biology in 2010. Following undergrad, she moved to Tampa, Florida, to complete her Master's degree in Medical Sciences at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. In 2015, Dr. Walag returned to Indianapolis, Indiana, where she completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Indiana University School of Dentistry. While in dental school, she was actively involved in the American Student Dental Association at local and national levels.

Dr. Walag resides in Houston and has been serving our community at Downtown Dental Excellence since July 2019. Dr. Walag offers complete family dentistry for patients of all ages, including advanced procedures such as implants, veneers, clear aligners, root canals, and more. Dr. Walag is proud to offer treatment utilizing the latest technologies in the office, including 3D printing, same-day CEREC crowns, Fotona laser, guided implant surgery, and more.  She is passionate about continuing education and is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), Texas Dental Association (TDA), North Houston Seattle Study Club (NHSSC), and Greater Houston Dental Society (GHDS).

In her free time, she enjoys exploring new restaurants in Houston with her husband, Dan, and hanging out with their rescue pup, Nico. If you have any good restaurant recommendations, she would love to hear them!
